Mary G. Mitchell founded Ayuda Consulting in 2002 to advance organizations and their missions. The focus of this work is on building healthy infrastructures and creating sustainable business systems that support nonprofit entities. Her expertise is in developing new traditions for organizations presented with 21st century challenges.
Mary’s approach is visionary and collaborative. She works with leaders to identify strengths and weaknesses in their organizations, coaches leaders on the evolution of nonprofits, assists leaders in creating nonprofit entities, and provides support in the development and management of financial resources.
In today’s world nonprofit organizations continually find increased competition for dwindling resources. Mary is adept in helping organizations strengthen their ability to attract and manage resources, while identifying opportunities where organizations may enhance their business and financial acuity.
Mary’s interest for working in the nonprofit sector came after years of employment in the corporate sector and for the federal government. She discovered the nonprofit sector to be one where passion and people converged in meaningful ways. The nonprofit sector’s mission based focus reflects Mary’s personal desire to share her knowledge and skills to help build community capacity for the greater good.
